If you want to replace one or more missing teeth or if you are simply tired of wearing dentures, then you should consider a tooth implant. Dental implantation in Thailand are very affordable and the quality and service is of the highest standard.
People who have lost one or more of their teeth can benefit from a medical and dental implantation to replace the missing teeth. Dental implants are also used to support dentures. A tooth implant is the closest you come to a natural tooth and it can give you back the ability to chew food. A tooth implant involves two phases. In the first phase the tooth implant is surgically placed in the jaw bone. In the second phase the dentist makes the teeth to cover the dental implant. This will normally be a crown. If several teeth are missing, however, the tooth implants can also support a denture.

How long do I have to stay in Thailand for a tooth implant procedure?
As mentioned above a tooth implant involves two phases. The first phase of inserting the tooth implant into the gum requires approximately 2 visits to the dentist and takes about 1 week. It then takes 4-6 months before the tooth implant has settled nicely into the gum. When the tooth implant has settled into gum, you are ready for the second phase, and you thus need to come back to Thailand to make the tooth. This requires approximately 3 visits to the dentist and takes about 2-3 weeks. The two phases do not both need to be done in Thailand. One of the phases can be done in your home country as long as the dentist inserting the implant and the dentist making the new tooth communicate. We can of course be of assistance with this. Therefore, the length you need to stay if you wish to have dental implantation in Thailand depends on whether you are interested in both phases or only the first or second phase.
